Haiti Benevolence

Find out what we are doing to help those in Haiti, and how you can be involved. .

Like many in our world we have been shocked and saddened by the devastation in Haiti. As a church we have decided to give $15,000 from the Church Benevolence Fund as a corporate act of discipleship in response to this crisis. $7500 will go to Compassion’s Haiti Disaster Relief and Recovery Fund and $7500 will go to Intercede International’s Haitian Earthquake Emergency Fund

We are also asking that you consider what God may be asking you to do personally as well. We recommend Compassion and Intercede International as two of the many excellent organizations that are responding to this crisis.

Please do not make cheques for Haiti payable to the Evangelical Free Church of Lethbridge!

For your convenience we will forward cheques made payable to these two agencies if you choose to leave them with us in the offering plate any Sunday during the remainder of January.
