Interested in Volunteering?

There are so many ways you can be involved in Children’s and Family Ministry! From storytelling to classroom set-up, we will strive to help you find a significant way to use your skills and passions to bring kids closer to Jesus. Contact Mark Dyck (Director of Kidventure) or Diane Nikkel (Director of Preschool Ministries) at the church office.As a commitment to the safety of our volunteer staff and children involved in the program, we require all volunteers to complete a Volunteer Application form complete with personal references and provide a Police Record Check.

Download the application form and the criminal record check, fill them out and hand them in at the church office or to Family Ministries staff, and we’ll get you plugged in.




Current Service Opportunities:
Sunday Mornings (Kidventure & SonShine Kids)–Sign up to be a back-up small group leader. On any given Sunday, we can count on full time team members being away. We need more people willing to serve as substitute small group leaders.- Our resource room needs to be re-organized. Would you be willing to work alongside Mark for an afternoon to help label and organize the tools we use each Sunday?-Enjoy drama? Come tell a story to preschool or elementary kids.-Are you the next Canadian Idol? Come join the SonShine Kids and fine tune your singing skill by leading preschoolers in worship.- Set up/tear down on Sunday mornings. Our church is used by many throughout the week, as a result there is considerable set up on a Sunday morning. We need a few more hands willing to come early and prepare the tables and chairs for the kids on Sunday mornings. If coming early is not for you, the tables and chairs in the gym need to be put away after the first service. Service on both sides of the morning would be greatly appreciated.
