Mission, Vision & Values Feedback
As a member of the Evangelical Free Church of Canada, we adhere to the core beliefs of the denomination. The calling and spirit of the EFCC is summed up well in the statement: “In Essentials Unity; in Non-Essentials Charity; in all things Jesus Christ.”
Our Statements of Faith establish foundational beliefs on key subjects such as the authority of Scripture, the Trinity, and salvation through Jesus’ death on the cross. These core truths serve as the bedrock upon which our Mission, Vision, and Values are built.

What we hope to see going forward:
- To see disciples of Jesus growing in faith and practice
- To see lives transformed by the Holy Spirit through prayer
- To see our world impacted for Jesus as we engage with local and global partners
Values
We are all about Jesus – “In all things, Jesus Christ” – We follow the way of Jesus because Jesus is Good News. We worship Jesus in spirit and truth. We trust Jesus alone as Lord and Saviour of our lives.
We are people focused and relationally driven – “In essentials unity, in non-essentials charity” – We commit to treating everyone as humans created in God’s image, whom God loves, for whom Jesus died. We strive for genuine community where no one is left-out or left behind. We demonstrate patience and grace, and practice confession, forgiveness, and reconciliation.
We are authentically alive – We share in the abundant life Christ offers. We hold space for both joy and sorrow through the power of the Holy Spirit. We testify to the hope of life with Jesus.
We are servant-hearted – We roll-up our sleeves. We encourage everyone’s unique contribution to the Kingdom. We serve Jesus as we serve others.
